So, a weekend consisting of a trip to the Buffalo zoo, hanging with the girlfriend, and going to Niagra Falls is pretty sweet in my book. And it’s not even over yet! Now I’m watching The Fellowship of the Ring with my Mom and it’s super awesome. *sigh* Such good times.

Proudness, R.I.P Mr. Ledger, Idiots From Westboro, And Hopes of Alien Life..PLEASE!

So, I’m in a really good mood. I found out the homework I’ve been working on isn’t even due this week. It’s due next week. So, I’m ahead of the game. Go me. AND I found out about half an hour ago that my mom and her husband Jim are quitting smoking! I am SOOOO super happy for them. I’ve been nagging and bugging them for God knows how long, and it’s FINALLY happening!! YAY! I am so proud of them.

As we all know also, Heath Ledger passed away yesterday from an apparent drug overdose. This is truly sad, as he was a wonderful actor and seemed like simply a good person. He’ll definitely be missed. In related news to that, it’s been released that Westboro Baptist Church is going to picket Mr. Ledgers funeral. Why? ‘Cause he played a homosexual in “Brokeback Mountain”. Wow. I hate stupid people. Who do these people think they are? Upright citizens? Followers of God. I tell you right now, and I truly and utterly believe this, that YOU PEOPLE will be the ones to be punished, NOT HIM. YOU! FUCK YOU….These people are assholes, and simply, horrible, horrible people. Fuck ’em.

Apple came out with a new pink iPod Nano…umm..why is this getting so much hype? Who really gives a rats ass? Ya, it’s nice, yadda yadda yadda…don’t care.

Has anyone seen the creepy ass picture of the supposed “person on Mars”? It’s pretty creepy and I REALLY hope it’s an alien. That would be really, truly awesome. ‘Cause they do exist. I know it. It’s just a matter of waiting for them to realize we’re not smart enough to harm them. Heres the pictures:

Back From A Weekend, Some Sites To Check Out, And One More Year To Go…

Well, I’m back after a relatively computer-free weekend. Sometimes, I don’t know how I do it. Sometimes, I’m not sure if I’ll make it a whole day without writing a blog, checking digg.com, or something else. But, I made it. I stuck through it. Not that it was a bad weekend. Not at all. Quite enjoyable actually. I was able to go home, see my family, and see my girlfriend for the first time in 2 weeks. Which, needless to say, made me super happy.

First off, I’m gonna jump on the “down with Scientology” bandwagon. I also want to point out first that I am completely for standing up for what you believe in, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, whatever! It’s ok to be yourself, and have opinions and beliefs. HOWEVER! There are somethings out there about Scientology that just…well, they don’t seem right. I was directed to this link here: link. Basically, it just gives a few facts about Scientology that, lets just say, they may not want you to know. Whether you know a lot about this stuff already or not, its a good read.
Next up is an amazing…well, I don’t know what you would call it. I guess a list? Ya, a list. The list is entitled “10 Reasons To Believe Logic Over Religion”. Whether you believe in God or not, it’s entertaining, insightful, and pretty smart. Check it out here.
Finally (at least for now) is an amazingly well written story from “The Independent”. It’s basically a synopsis of George W. Bush’s failure as President. Check that read out here. Only one more year to go everybody…only one more year…then we get to see how bad the next guy (or girl) will screw it all up!
